Partnership Hubs
With 32 schools across the partnership, the Sevenoaks Partnership of Primary Schools (SPPS), is organised into four regional Hubs. This structure enables closer, more meaningful collaboration while remaining firmly aligned to the shared priorities of the wider partnership.
Each Hub brings together Headteachers and staff from a smaller group of schools, creating trusted spaces for professional dialogue, support and shared problem-solving. Headteachers within each Hub aim to meet up to six times a year to share effective practice, offer guidance, and use these meetings as a sounding board for leadership challenges and strategic thinking.
While Hubs respond to the specific contexts and needs of their schools, all work within the agreed priorities of the partnership. Each Hub is led by at least one Trustee, helping to ensure strong links between Hub activity, partnership strategy and governance.
Hubs also play a central role in professional development across SPPS. Schools regularly come together through their Hubs to access continued professional development, often pooling funding to bring in external speakers, host moderation activities, and create opportunities for teachers to share practice with peers from across the partnership.
Through this Hub model, SPPS balances the scale and reach of a large partnership with the relational strength and responsiveness of smaller, connected networks.
