FAQs
Who is SPPS for?
SPPS is for schools that value collaboration as a way to improve outcomes for pupils and support staff at all levels.
The partnership is well suited to schools that:
-
Are committed to high-quality teaching and learning
-
Value inclusive practice and professional development
-
See collaboration as mutually beneficial
-
Are willing to contribute as well as learn from others
-
Want to retain their individual identity while working within a trusted local network
Engagement does not need to look the same for every school. What matters most is a shared commitment to openness, professional trust and purposeful collaboration.
What SPPS is not
SPPS is not a top-down organisation or a one-size-fits-all model.
It is not:
-
A Multi-Academy Trust or a step towards academisation
-
A compliance or inspection-led body
-
A requirement to standardise approaches across schools
-
An expectation that all schools engage in the same way
The partnership exists to support and strengthen schools, not to direct or define them.
